 A Role for Everyone

Playground Opera is an opera education program that immerses your students in the production and performance of an opera. We are pleased to now offer an add-on experience to our Hansel und Gretel curriculum that enhances our STEAM-based approach.

Every Playground Opera curriculum culminates in a “red-carpet event” where students get to perform, for their communities, alongside professional opera singers on the big screen!

What Teachers Say

“This process and the product are super kid-friendly, relating a classic opera in bel canto to things our kids care about, like pizza! I can’t wait to teach our kids this year in 4th grade again.”

PABLO PROVENCIO, Music Teacher, KIPP NYC School
